RST's new MEMS digital Stationary Inclinometer (IPI) system is designed to reliably measure lateral movement in and around DAMS, levees, landfills, landslides, piles, piers, retaining walls and piers, especially when continuous remote monitoring is required。It provides early warning of movement and is critical to protecting lives and equipment。
Each IPI uses a MEMS acceleration sensor and is mounted in diameter 28.6毫米(1.125 ") waterproof stainless steel housing inside。Sensor body with diameter 25.4毫米(1.0 inch) the clamping rod is rigidly connected, and the clamping rod determines the length of IPI。Multiple IPIS are assembled with pivots, allowing displacement to be sensed at discreet, configurable time intervals。The wheel assembly centralizes pivot points and determines the azimuth of each IPI。They have a fit of 70 mm (2.75 inches) or 85 mm (3.34 inches) for the outside diameter of the survey tube。
The sensor is read through a connected signal cable designed to chain multiple sensors。The data logger monitors the deflection of each sensor on the digital bus。If necessary, an alarm can be triggered when movement reaches a threshold rate or amplitude。
RST's stationary inclinometer system is designed for ease of installation, serviceability, and quick delivery, with both dual and single axes being standard in one model。
